Hotels.ca, a hotel booking website, has launched a free iPad app.

Available in more than 30 languages, the app allows users to search and book 140,000 hotels around the world. Users can choose from 20,000 last minute hotel deals and browse more than 2.5 million user reviews using sort and filter tools, plus save and manage their favourite hotels.

“I am really proud and excited by this new development and am sure our customers will enjoy using it," Scott Booker, SVP eCommerce for Hotels.com. "We developed a truly innovative search experience that combines Apple’s great usability functionality with our expertise to enable users to find the right hotel with ease. We launched our two mobile apps in April and well over 1.5 million have already been downloaded. We expect this new app to produce a big boost to those numbers.”

A Hotels.com account can be synchronised between the iPad, smartphone and desktop. Past and future bookings can be viewed in offline mode so internet connectivity isn't necessary.
