Hothead Games, one of Vancouver's newest game development studios, has gained new acclaim with company founder Vlad Ceraldi's inclusion in Business in Vancouver's 2008 Top 40 Under 40 list. After a stint in the military and more than a decade working for game developers like Silicon Knights and Vancouver's own Radical Entertainment, Ceraldi struck out on his own in March 2006 to found Hothead Games. The company has grown to 27 employees and raised more than $6 million in financing in 2007, and their newest product, Penny Arcade Adventures, is one of the most hotly anticipated casual gaming titles of 2008.
