How Domain7 Became One of the Fastest Growing Companies in BC
Domain7 are experiencing lightning growth. Recently featured in our Top 15 Fastest Growing Companies in BC, this dynamic web strategy company has expanded significantly over the last three years. Originally based out of Abbotsford, Domain7 opened their Vancouver office just over a year ago. I sat down with Jordan Eshpeter, Domain 7’s new Business Development and Marketing Lead, to discuss the company’s rising star.
Eshpeter is smartly dressed, wearing a Fred Perry button-up, dark jeans and boat shoes. He’s a fine example of Domain7’s brand: professional, stylish and approachable. The focus of his new role is simple. “I’m seeking strategic relationships that make good sense for us in terms of accelerating our growth curve and raising our profile,” he says.
Domain7 has grown so fast over the last three years they have subsisted almost entirely on referrals. This has allowed them to expand their team and international presence. The company boasts offices in Vancouver, Abbotsford and Washington D.C. “We started out as the local web-shop that does great work and is easy to deal with,” says Eshpeter. “We now have the capabilities to handle bigger clients and take on more work. We’ve refined our process and are ready to expand our audience.”
A recent flagship project was the new Oakridge Mall website. Some of the geekier features they are proud of include an interactive store directory that doesn’t rely on Flash, so it works on iPhones/iPads, etc. The design is outstanding. “Usability and great design were the first and foremost features,” explains Eshpeter. “The web should be beautiful. That belief seeps into everything we do.”
Domain7 is excited about their future growth. “This company and our process are evolving,” Eshpeter explains. “The rationale behind our growth is our focus on solving real business problems for our clients and user-centred design.”
Eshpeter is leading the redevelopment of the new Domain7 website, set to launch alongside Domain7’s 15th birthday. “We’re centralizing all the different aspects of our company into one place,” he says. “It’s exciting. Our company’s footprint in the market will only continue to expand.”
