Looking to design some games, and gain a mentorship and industry experience at the same time? The 2009 GameGarage Incubator might be just the venue for your budding game design and development skills.
Co-presented by Telefilm Canada and PEI Business Development INc, the GameGarage aims to get top talent lined up with studio space, hardware, software, a salary and mentorship to bring their game ideas from theory to reality.
The game will be designed with Microsoft's XNA, using C++ or C#. 2d art for the game will be created in Flash. GameGarage is looking for two C++ and two Flash animators able to fit the bill.
The program runs from September 1 to November 27th at the Atlantic Technology Centre in Charlottetown, PEI, with a salary of $2,000 a month for three months. But hurry and register, because the deadline is tomorrow.
