Day One of the TechCrunch40 Conference is complete and the first 20 companies have demoed their wares at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco. There aren't any Canadian entries in the TechCrunch40 but Sebastien Provencher of Praized Media pointed out that a neighbour from very close to home was chosen to participate in The Demo Pit.
Lat49 was one of the addtional 100 start-ups were chosen from over 700 applicants to demo their products in the DemoPit adjacent to the main TechCrunch40 presentation room. Lat49 was developed by our upstairs neighbour IDELIX Software Inc., a company that specializes in technologies for visualizing, presenting, and interacting with complex visual information.
