Mountain Equipment Co-op has millions of satisfied customers, many of whom purchase the company’s products online. People loved their website. It was popular. It was familiar. So why did MEC decide to do a major overhaul of the site?
That’s the topic of a presentation from two of the minds behind the redesign. George Weetman, web marketing manager for MEC [pictured, right], and Gordon Ross, vice president and partner at OpenRoad [pictured, left]. The decisaion to redesign, the implementation of that redesign and post-redesign success of MEC’s website will be discussed in the 90 minute presentation.
