IN 2010 early-bird registration ends this Friday

IN 2010, taking place September 12-14th, explores the visionary ideas, creative excellence and technological innovations that generate truly engaging interactive experiences. From games to film, from social media to mobile, IN 2010 will bring together International industry leaders for two and a half days at the Carlu in downtown Toronto.

This year Jordan Mechner, creator of the Prince of Persia franchise, will be a keynote speaker at IN 2010. Mechner has become the first game creator to successfully convert his own work into a feature film in Disney’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and as such, has valuable insight into crossing over from one stream into another.

Other sessions on the agenda include:

Managing Mobile: Challenges & Opportunities Facing Mobile Projects. Creating projects for the new set of mobile platforms can present it's own set of challenges. What types of issues can you expect to face and what opportunities can the mobile platform present?

Bend It!: A discussion about pushing boundaries of social media and future trends between an assembly of innovators from several different sectors. Branded Entertainment: A breakdown of brand-supported entertainment properties. Featuring creation, brand integration and ROI measurements.

Concept to Screen: This will focus on the actual creative arc that individuals trace in order to create a piece of work, an IP, that is exploitable along multiple entertainment verticals.

Weird Science: From thought-controlled devices to biotechnology, this Visionary Presentation session will showcase leading work being done locally and aboard that has the potential to usher in a new era of interaction.
