Canadian Minister of Industry Tony Clement said elements of a digital strategy for the country would be revealed next fall.

The promise came after an invitation-only summit on Canada's Digital Economy according to The Ottawa Citizen.

The day-long event featured industry leaders like Research in Motion president Mike Lazaridis as well as academics and consumer groups.

While not open to the public, videos from the conference are available on the Industry Canada web site.

Also, University of Ottawa law professor and digital activist Michael Geist posted his prepared remarks for the conference on his blog.
