Industry pre-sale for Game Design Expo 2011 on NOW!

by Liam Britten

While Vancouver Film School’s Game Design Expo 2011 isn’t starting until January 22nd, industry-only pre-sale tickets are available starting now!

If you plan on going to the Expo, you won’t want to miss out on this pre-sale opportunity. Tickets go on sale to the public on November 1st, and last year’s event sold out fast. To get in on the pre-sale offer, visit the ticket sale page, and use the access code vfsexpo11.

Why is the 2011 Expo going to be so popular? For starters, the industry speakers’ night, January 22nd, will feature representatives from Blizzard talking about designing World of Warcraft, and how they maintain such a passionate following; as well, the designers and marketers behind iPhone hit Angry Birds will be presenting to delegates.

As well, the makers of Dead Space 2, Halo Waypoint, PlayStation Move, Microsoft Kinect will be speaking, and “big announcements” are promised to be made at the Expo.
