Independents Day

If you are interested in gaming there is a great event happening today at the University of Waterloo. Infusion Angels and Microsoft have teamed up for an event geared towards those interested in learning more about the gaming industry. Speakers at the event will tell you what it takes to set up a community studio or start your own game company.

Independents Day will provide an opportunity to network and hear from Microsoft’s and Infusion Developments executive. A number of executives from independent game studies will also be discussing their experiences in the industry and offering tips for newcomers. The event is designed to educate students on how they can become a part of the dynamic gaming industry and provide them with more information about publishing games on the Xbox 360.

Registration is required, a sign up form is available on the Infusion Angel website or you can e-mail kspiess(at)infusionangels.com. Independents Day will take place at Fed Hall at the University of Waterloo on Thursday January 29th, 2009 from 4:30 to 7:30PM.
