TechCrunch reported today that Montreal's iNovia Capital along with Village Ventures and Greycroft Partners have participated in a $3 Million in Series B financing round with Babble - a parenting community site aimed at urban moms and dads.

Spun off from sex and dating community Nerve Media, Babble takes a more modern view on parenting, aimed at a younger generation of parents who live in cities, equally share parenting duties and use the Internet to access information.

Babble also recently launched an impressive Facebook app called “Connected by Kids” which allows parents to create Facebook profiles for their children.

iNovia Capital has been busy this month as they were involved in $3 Million in Series A financing round for Woozworld, a virtual world for tweens, which spun off from virtual world developer Tribal Nova.
