Inside the Blackberry 9900 Bold; DirectFix posts teardown video

Ever wonder what the inside of your Blackberry looks like? Parts distributor, DirectFix, has already created a teardown video for a Rogers-branded Bold, showing the compact internals and modular construction.

Taking apart your phone typically voids its warranty, so for many of us, it's probably better to have someone vicariously open one up. For those more savvy to DIY, the video gives clear instructions should you need to replace any of the phone's component parts.

This is the first such BlackBerry with a touchscreen and the thinnest Bold ever made. It has the largest Qwerty keyboard of any BlackBerry and a 2.8-inch touchscreen. it has the same OS 7 features as the Torch, as well as the same download and upload max speeds. Again, like the Torch 9860, memory starts at 8 GB and go up to 32 Gb, while its 5-megapixel camera can shoot 720p HD video
