Instigator Yoskovitz and friends launch NextMontreal.com

Last month Montreal entrepreneur Ben Yoskovitz announced that he and a team including Phil Telio, Sylvain Carle and Patrick Tanguay were working on NextMontreal.com - a news and opinion site for Montreal technology. Today they officially unveiled it and their vision.

There are many ongoing tech community projects in Montreal. Folks have started some great events, meetups, etc. Our hope is that NextMontreal is the true hub of that activity. We won’t get perfect coverage – it’s nearly impossible to find every story, cover every news item – but I do think it’s absolutely possible to cover much more than was previously done and start to bring the various tech communities together in one place. The cross-pollination of ideas between tech sectors can become very interesting.

Montreal certainly can't complain about a lack of tech coverage now. Along with Montreal Tech Watch and Techvibes, the city is covered.
