GameON: Finance 2.0 is a games industry investment forum happening October 28-29 in Toronto, put on by the non-profit Interactive Ontario organization. The inaugural event last winter sold out, attracting 90 delegates. The keynote speaker will be David Edery of Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade division and author of the book Changing the Game: How Video Games are Transforming the Business World. Other speakers include representitives of Bioware, TransGaming, Rainmaker, RBC, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
For gaming startups, a small number of startup passes are available which will give a unique oppourtunity to meet investors. Also, the Ontario Game Summit is happening in the half day before GameON.
