The world’s largest international event dedicated to animation, the International Cartoon Festival of Annecy, is taking place from from June 6th to 11th in France.  The Festival is the best way to discover the latest in animation masterpieces, meet major players and young talents, check out new trends, and find ideal business partners, all in one place.

The International Animation Film Market (MIFA) is held in concert with the Annecy Festival and boasts over 30,000 square feet exhibition space. MIFA is the animated film industry’s foremost showcase in terms of co-producing, purchasing, selling, financing and distributing animation content for all broadcasting platforms.

Veronique Encrenaza, a delegate from the organizing group, will be visiting Toronto on March 28/29 and Vancouver on March 30/31 to meet with Canadian professionals in digital animation and VFX. If you're interested in meeting with Encrenaza and learning more about the events, contact Jerome Chataigner of the French Trade Commission in Vancouver at jerome.chataigner@ubifrance.fr.
