Every year, Calgary Technologies Inc. and the tech companies that call the Alastair Ross Technology Centre home put on an open house and trade show to showcase their wares and provide one of the best tech sector networking opportunities in Calgary.

For its 10th edition, the event has been themed "International Tech Lounge - Celebrating the reach and diversity of technology companies in Calgary". It builds on last year's successful Tech Lounge event and offers much more than a typical trade show's rental carpets and company branded stress balls.

In addition to the 30 or so companies exhibiting in the ARTC, there will be a plethora of multicultural food, drink as well as the sounds of a Latin salsa band. So far well over 300 people have RSVP'd to attend.

There will also be a special presentation by United Way of Calgary and Area campaign co-chair, John Masters (who is also CEO of CTI) made highlighting the involvement of several tech companies with United Way.

Check it out if you have the chance. it runs from 4:00 to 7:00PM, this Thursday, October 29th at the Alastair Ross Technology Centre, 3553 31 Street NW, Calgary.
