Intertainment Media hosts Incubator/Accelerator zone at Dx3 Conference
Toronto's Intertainment Media announced today that they will be hosting Intertainment Media Incubation Zone (IMIZ) at the Dx3 Canada Conference on January 25th & 26th at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
The "IMIZ" will showcase some of Canada's formalized incubator and accelerator programs, with Ryerson's DMZ, OCADU, the Impact Entrepreneurship Group and MEIC already confirmed participants. The Zone will showcase the programs and their members, culminating in a panel "pitch-off" for the chance to win a $20,000 prize of cash and professional services plus the opportunity to work with Intertainment Media for one year.
"Intertainment is very pleased to be partnering with Dx3 Canada to help bring focus to the incredible technology talent that exists in this country and Canada's outstanding reputation as a global hub for innovation." said David Lucatch, CEO of Intertainment Media. "Intertainment Media is committed to finding, fostering and delivering leading edge technology to the Canadian and global media landscape and this opportunity was a natural fit with our mandate."
The "pitch-off" will happen over the course of the two days of Dx3 Canada, with the winner being announced on the final day of the conference.
