Posted by Rob Lewis on Tue, June 2, 2009 12:05 PM · Filed under Calgary , Social Media · 1 Comment

Techvibes is pleased to announce that Duncan Kinney is our new Community Manager in Calgary. Duncan will be focused on covering local tech startups, news and events in Calgary.

Duncan is the founder of yycBlogs , a local blog aggregator and the main force behind the yycPhotobook, a crowdsourced photobook.

Duncan is a recent grad of Mount Royal College's Journalism program and over the past several years has reported, shot and edited for the Castlegar News , the Reflector, the Calgary Journal, the Edmonton Sun and the Calgary Sun. Duncan has since seen the error in his ways.

He is committed to finding and spotlighting the best and the brightest goings on in local technology and with Calgary's tech scene burgeoning it shouldn't be hard.

Feel free to connect with Duncan on LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr or by email at duncan AT techvibes.com if you'd like him to write about your startup, news, or event in Calgary.
