Invest Ottawa Expands Board of Directors with Addition of Tobias Lutke, Other Entrepreneurs
Invest Ottawa announced this week a few notable additions to its Board of Directors.
Joining the board are entrepreneurs who helped grow Ottawa’s business ecosystem by creating new companies and are now giving back by volunteering their time. The additions include:
- Susan Richards, cofounder of Givopoly
- Tobias Lütke, is CEO of Shopify
- Jason Flick, president of YOUi Labs
- David Ross, CEO of Ross Video
- Jim Roche, co-founder of Tundra Semiconductor
“The contributions, achievements and thought leadership of these new members has been instrumental in establishing Ottawa as the best place to work, play and grow,” says Dave Ritonja, Board Co-Chair.
“I’ve enjoyed Ottawa as my home and have found it to be a fantastic place to grow a vibrant business and raise a family,” says Ross.
“I know firsthand the benefits of Ottawa for building world-class companies that want easy access to global markets,” says Flick.
Chandra Arya of Acleo, Bryan Haralovich of Welch LLP, and Chris Knight of Knight Enterprises have departed the board.
