Invoke Media's Eat St. App hits 100,000 downloads

Posted by Rob Lewis

One hundred thousand and counting - that's how many people have downloaded Invoke Media's Eat St. App which helps the hungry locate mobile food carts throughout North America.

Designed and built the Vancouver interactive agency that was also responsible for HootSuite, the Eat St. App launched on April 3rd and landed in the New and Noteworthy section in iTunes App Store as well as the What’s Hot list for the Canadian app store.

Within eight days it hit 50,000 downloads.

The app is also one of the first to link real-time with television programming for an interactive experience. The application is an extension of the Food Network's Eat St. television series which profiles street food vendors across North America.

Paperny Films created and produces the Eat St. television series and Invoke Media was brought in to design, build and launch the accompanying app thanks to funding from the Bell New Media Fund.

Download the app now and find a mobile food cart near you today.
