Ottawa's iotum has patenered with Samsung Canada for a promotion offering a year of their conference calling service to Samsung customers.
From March 1st to April 30th 2010, Samsung resellers can offer customers purchasing select Samsung laptops and netbooks a free year of the premium Calliflower conference call web service, valued at $600.
Samsung delaers who sign up for the promotion will also receive a comission from iotum when customers sign-up after the free 12-month period.
It's certainly a unique take on the "freemium" model of selling.
Owners of qualifying Samsung computers can sign-up with their device's serial on this page.
