Is Koodo about to get the iPhone 4 and BlackBerry PlayBook?

Rumours are swirling that Koodo will be selling the iPhone 4 sooner than later.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to many as consumers have been able to purchase Apple's smartphone for retail price and activate it on Koodo's network.

Plus, with the iPhone 5 widely anticipated to launch in tandem with iOS 5 in September or October, the iPhone 4 will no longer be the latest, hottest gadget from Apple that's reserved for the Big Three carriers.

Given that the iPhone 4 is so expensive, it will be interesting to see how much Koodo can slash off its price tag with its Tab, which historically has only chopped up to $150.

(Virgin has a SuperTab that eats up to $500 of a phone's cost, but this can be more crippling than a three-year contract.)

Tech blog MobileSyrup reported that Koodo may also stock BlackBerry PlayBooks in the near future, though there has been no definite confirmation.
