Israel to launch Twitterville at Third Tuesday across Canada

Shel Israel is coming to Vancouver next week for the Third Tuesday Meetup to launch his new book - Twitterville.

Three years ago, Shel co-authored Naked Conversations with Robert Scoble. Naked Conversations was a must-read book in 2006. It captured the zeitgeist of the blogosphere. Now Shel Israel is back with Twitterville, his look at Twitter and how it is being used by people and organizations to connect, play, share, create community, organize…. You name it and we’re finding a way to do it on Twitter.

Event organizers are asking attendees to pay a $10 admission fee to reserve a space at this month's Third Tuesday to cover the venue cost. Thanks to Toronto being the center of the universe, Third Tuesday is on Thursday, September 17th at 6pm at Canvas Lounge in Gastown.

If you're interested in getting a signed copy of Twitterville, zoom $10 to Joseph Thornley at 613-866-5132 using Zoompass. Write "Twitterville Vancouver" in the note section and Joe will order a book for you and Shel will have it ready for you at the event with a personal message.

As part of his Twitterville book launch, Israel will be going across Canada. Here's his schedule:

  • Montreal - Sunday, September 13th
  • Ottawa - Monday, September 14th
  • Toronto - Tuesday, September 15th
  • Calgary - Wednesday, September 16th
  • Vancouver - Thursday, September 17th
