iTunes Radio Coming to Canada Soon?

Apple debuted iTunes Radio alongside iOS 7, but made the music streaming service available only to users in the US.

That may soon change, if a newly posted job listing on Apple’s website is any indication. The world’s most valuable technology company is seeking an “iTunes Canada Music Programmer.”

Here’s the part of the listing that mentions iTunes Radio:

The Canadian Music Programmer will be an editorial voice of iTunes Radio, and will be responsible for keeping the product current. This person must have a passion for and deep knowledge of music across numerous genres and decades, and must demonstrate the ability to objectively program content relevant to iTunes customers.

We know that bringing iTunes Radio to Canada is important to Apple, as Eddy Cue, the company’s senior vice president of Internet software and services, said recently it was a priority for Apple to bring the service to “more than 100 countries” eventually. Hopefully Canada is among the first.
