Jolt is now accepting applications for their Fall 2013 cohort.

The technology accelerator dedicated to building web and mobile companies is seeking up to six startups to attend a six-month program that will include mentorships, workshops and hands-on development to help participants in their professional growth.

House by one of Canada’s leading innovation centres, MaRS Discovery District, Jolt will host a week-to-week feature with inspiring speakers from the industry, as well as Jolt partners.

The program will conclude with a Demo Day where the startups in attendance will pitch their idea to an audience of over 250 from the technology, media and investor communities.

Applications for Jolt’s Fall cohort is opened until Sunday, June 30, 2013 11:59 pm (EST) and all applicants will be contacted no later than August 30, 2013. Click here to apply for Jolt or learn more about the accelerator program.

“JOLT has been an incredibly eye-opening experience,” writes Rami Alhamad, CEO of Push and a member of Jolt’s Winter 2013 cohort. “You'll go in thinking of your product as a technical solution to a problem, and then leave with the knowledge that there are many other pieces of the puzzle that need to be addressed.”

The benefits for being selected into Jolt’s Fall cohort includes $50,000 in seed capital in exchange for 9% equity, a workspace in the MaRS Commons, mentorship and access to over 100 Jolt mentor network, free market intelligence from research institutes, weekly workshops, guidance from experienced experts and networking opportunities.
