Invites have been sent out for the September 12th press event where Apple it is expected to launch of the next-gen iPhone.
This has got everyone wondering just how popular the new iPhone will be and how many devices the company could sell.
Analysts have been predicting that the iPhone 5 (official name still to be determined) could be one of Apple's biggest product launches of all time. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster has estimated that Apple could possibly sell up to 10 million iPhone 5 units in the first week.
Munster further estimated that Apple could sell between 26 million and 28 million total iPhones during the September quarter.
While the ship date for the next-gen phone has not been confirmed, Apple is expected to release it on September 21st, nine days after it's announced.
