Kawasaki BarCamping in Calgary

December is shaping up to be a great month for Tech events in Calgary. Material Insight is bringing Guy Kawasaki (bestselling author of Art of the Start) into town for a December 14th breakfast discussion on what it takes to grow tech innovators beyond start-up. The event panel is a who's who of recent acquisitions and news stories coming from Alberta: Nairn Nerland of Veer, Bruce Livingstone of iStockPhoto, and Ravi Sood of VoodooPC to name a few.

Kawasaki is sticking around town for Calgary's first BarCamp on December 15th and the attendee waiting list has already begun. BarCamp organizers have capped attendance at 50 and implemented a no-tourists rule to save space for Calgarians.
