Kickstarter is North America's most famous crowdfunding platform and has gained fame for history-making, multi-million dollar campaigns.

But for all the glory Kickstarter has earned, there is an untold story: most campaigns fail and even the successful ones are littered with problems such as late deliveries of the promised goods.

The infographic below, via Jeanne Pi from Appsblogger, explores this untold story. For example, did you know that nine out of 10 failed projects don't even reach 30% of their funding goal? And 97% of failed project's don't even reach half their goal?
