Kiip's Brian Wong on How Young Entrepreneurs Can Kickstart Their Careers

Brian Wong, the 23-year-old founder and CEO of Kiip, a mobile marketing startup, says that Vancouver's tech scene has the foundations right: great schools, favourable immigration laws and plenty of talent, but that it's still in early days. "It's nascent, it's only going to continue to grow," he says in the BCBusiness video below.

Wong, who was a speaker at the GROW Conference in Whistler this week, also has some advice for young entrepreneurs: "If you don't ask, no one knows how to help you. That's one of the simplest things you can do to kick-start your career."
