If press releases announcing partnerships were a sign of success, Vancouver's Lat49 is on a serious roll. Mapvertising pioneer Lat49 added AccuWeather.com and Rand McNally to its list of closed deals this week.
The AccuWeather.com strategic partnership will see integration of Lat49 ad serving technology into real-time AccuWeather.com local and international online weather forecasts.
The agreement with mapping icon Rand McNally will see integration of Lat49's ad serving technology on their online maps and builds on a partnership with the Travel Ad Network (TAN).
All this business development activity isn't going unnoticed with Lat49 attracting new investment with a $1.5 million Series A round earlier this month led by PenderFund Capital Management with participation from existing investors including Discovery Capital.
