Lat49 keeps putting itself on the map

If press releases announcing partnerships were a sign of success, Vancouver's Lat49 is on a serious roll.  Mapvertising pioneer Lat49 added and Rand McNally to its list of closed deals this week.

The strategic partnership will see integration of Lat49 ad serving technology into real-time local and international online weather forecasts.

The agreement with mapping icon Rand McNally will see integration of Lat49's ad serving technology on their online maps and builds on a partnership with the Travel Ad Network (TAN).

All this business development activity isn't going unnoticed with Lat49 attracting new investment with a $1.5 million Series A round earlier this month led by PenderFund Capital Management with participation from existing investors including Discovery Capital.
