Wishpond is a company making a difference in retail shopping. Many shoppers research products online, but still shop within their local stores. Shoppers want to find the best product at the right price from the nearest store. Using a typical search engine doesn't help in finding a good selection of items from a number of stores.

Wishpond is a local search engine that brings together all of the products that your local stores carry. It goes beyond big box retailers to provide results from local small business that are unique to your specific area. The service also helps businesses publish their product information online with Retailconnect. Retailconnect makes it easy for business to import their database to Wishpond.

Using a local shopping engine, Wishpond helps shoppers find products in stores nearby. When you make a wish on a product you like, Wishpond will: alert you when the price drops; find similar products that match you desired price; and send personalized deals from nearby stores who will match that price.

You can also take it anywhere you go with the Wishpond iPhone app.
