Local Marketers gets $4.1 Million and more

Seattle-based Local Marketers announced today that they have raised $4.1 million from Madrona Venture Group. But they didn't stop there - they also announced the appointment of a new CEO, a Google Partnership, an expanded headquarters, and a "breakthrough" business model. Whoa.

In short, Local Marketers manages Google Adwords campaigns for for plumbers, roofers, movers and other local businesses and tracks return on investment for every digital ad dollar they spend. Since many of its customers are local service businesses, the pay-per-contact model, reduces the risk to small businesses since they only have to pay for services when they’re contacted.

Including today's $4.1 million in Series A2 funding from Madrona, Local Marketers has raised a total of $5.1 million since 2006.
