Maggie Fox, Founder & CEO of Social Media Group defines Stigmergy

The concept of "stigmergy" is beginning to be applied to business and organizations who are looking to adapt and take advanage of technology trends and the power of social media.

I first heard of this concept from Maggie Fox who was a featured guest and speaker at EPIC's inaugural EpCon 2010 conference in Waterloo, ON.  Social Media Group, the company Maggie founded, has developed social media strategies for some very powerful brands such as Ford Motor Company and Yamaha Motor.  Recently, she was named one of the Top 100 Marketers in the 100th anniversary edition of Marketing Magazine.
