On November 20th, Vancouver's AMP Merchandising posted a job opportunity for an E-Commerce Project Manager on the Techvibes Job Board.

An amazing opportunity with a cool company - AMP Merchandising was founded in 1996 by Canadian music icon, Sarah McLachlan and Nettwerk Management President, Dan Fraser and is in the business of tour merchandising.

Rather than paying to post the position on Monster ($725 per job) or Workpolis ($695 per job), AMP Merchandising chose to advertise this unique position on Techvibes for $100.

We included the job opportunity in our weekly Jobs of the Week blog post and tweeted it out to our 6,000+ followers on Twitter.

Three weeks later AMP Merchandising had hired the ideal candidate as a result of the job posting on Techvibes.

If you're interesting in giving the Techvibes Job Board a shot, use the discount code 'boxingday' until the end of December to save 50% off our $100 job listing fee. Your job listing will be live on Techvibes for 60 days and we'll do our best to make sure that your last purchase of the decade results in your best hire of the next.
