Malcolm Gladwell speaking in Ottawa

Posted by Rob Lewis on Wed, April 15, 2009 8:30 AM · Filed under Ottawa · Comments

The United Way in Ottawa is hosting a one hour conversation with author Malcolm Gladwell on June 11th at the National Arts Centre.

Join us for Gladwell’s conversation with journalist and member of our board of directors, Mark Sutcliffe.  Using anecdotes, fresh insights and engaging stories, Gladwell, a staff writer for The New Yorker and author of three best-sellers, The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers – The Story of Success, will leave you brimming with ideas and creative solutions – no matter what your line of business.

This is your chance to hear from someone who is turning conventional notions of how society works on its head. The majority of the tickets will be sold in $5,000 group packages that include 75 tickets to attend the main event and two tickets to an exclusive book-signing reception with the author.

A very limited number of individual tickets are available for $75 on a first come, first serve basis. So if you want to spend an hour with Gladwell, buy your ticket now.

Hat tip to Luc Levesque of Startup Ottawa
