Lat49, Techvibes across-the-hall neighbour, released a Flash API for their online-map advertising network yesterday. This new offering enables websites with a Flash map component to integrate lat49's ad serving solution allowing them to serve relevant display ads based on their users' direct interaction with the map. As with the lat49 Ajax map API, ads can be displayed either on the map itself, or off-map, depending on the site's preference. Lat49's Flash API is in Beta with full functionality and revenue models in place - check out map-based real estate serach engine HotPads.com as an example.
