Malcolm Gladwell's headlining this year's F5 Expo, formerly called the Massive Technology Show, Canada's leading small business tradeshow and conference. The show will take place on April 7th at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The name change and big time speaker "get" reflects the changing times and progressive ways companies are using technology, and might also signal that organizers are ready to give techies what they really want. Mr. Gladwell's a good start.
Host of Tech Talk Expert on Global TV News and show organizer, Lindsay Smith made the BIG announcement yesterday about signing on Malcolm Gladwell, best-selling author of Tipping Point, Blink, and Outliers, as the keynote speaker. (What have you learned from spaghetti sauce?)
The F5 name is a play on the F5 function on the computer, something that is used to refresh the page. So we can all expect a refreshed look and feel to the show. Besides the captivating Canadian content and showcasing more than 250 companies, people attending the conference can expect to connect with business leaders and hear their thought-provoking stories, exchange ideas with peers and engage with the companies that create technology for business.
