Metabridge will host its fifth annual event in Kelowna this June.
The non-profit organization, which was created to help Canadian startups foster direct connections with Silicon Valley technology partners for investments, strategic partnerships, and mentorship opportunities, is planning a two-day retreat. The retreat will consist of interactive presentations, round table discussions and multiple VIP networking sessions.
"The Launch Academy and Digital Okanagan teams are great additions to the metabridge organizing committee. This is a good mix of entrepreneurship and community champions in the world of digital and tech startups," says Steve Wandler, founder of metabridge.
“Launch Academy companies are at the beginning of a startup’s life cycle. It is a prestigious opportunity for us to be a part of metabridge, and to provide our top companies with visibility of where they can be 10 to 16 months and how metabridge can help with distribution and scaling," added Ray Walia, Executive Director of Launch Academy. "Metabridge provides a vision for startups to work towards.”
"Digital Okanagan is a non-profit association in the Okanagan dedicated to building the technology community here. After facilitating hundreds of community events in the last year, including Startup Weekend Okanagan and Startup Week, we are thrilled to bring our passion for community and tech to the metabridge team," noted Daryl Chymko, Chief Volunteer Officer of Digital Okanagan.
