Michael Phelps pulled from The Power Within

Last week we announced that Techvibes is giving away tickets in both Vancouver and Calgary to see 8-time Beijing Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps speak on tour with The Power Within. Unfortunately it was announced today that Phelps has been pulled from both events.

"Due to the widely publicized alleged use of marijuana by Michael Phelps, the decision has been made to present the program without Mr. Phelps' participation," Power Within said in a released statement.

Techvibes will still be giving away the tickets in question but attendees will see actor  Martin Sheen as his replacement in Calgary and Oprah Winfrey regular Dr. Mehmet Oz in Vancouver.
