Microsoft's IE8 lets you to shop and bank online with confidence

In 10 years - or less - every transaction will be made online.

This is online payment giant PayPal's recent prediction (PayPal already has 84 million users worldwide and is by no means the only online payment system). The prediction shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone aware of a 2009 Stats Can report, which indicated that two-thirds of Internet users in Canada go online to do banking or bill payments.

With more and more Canadians heading online to shop and bank, Microsoft believes there is a growing concern about how you can protect your banking information. Microsoft suggests it is easier than ever for third parties to access personal information - that is, if you’re not using a trusted browser. Internet Explorer 8 believes everyone should Browse with Confidence. Upgrading to IE8 helps you stay safe by blocking almost three times more malicious content then its competitors, according to statistics by the software mammoth.
