Hot on the heels of its $230 million IPO, Ottawa telecommunications firm Mitel has announced another deal. They will be providing portable toilet company On Site Sanitation with unified communications software.

Mitel’s solution for On Site Sanitation provides “single-number reachability” meaning calls to a single number can ring multiple phones at the Phoenix, Arizona-based sanitation company, according to Mitel’s press release.

"In a competitive landscape On Site Sanitation needs to be assured that customer calls are answered promptly, regardless of the employee's location," said Rick Dell, Mitel president of U.S. sales in the press release. "With Mitel's business communications solutions, On Site Sanitation can significantly decrease mobile costs, increase availability to customers, and provide flexibility in how employees work."

Mitel also provided On Site Sanitation the company’s Teleworker Solution for secure network access from remote locations.

The press release notes that the sale was made through Mitel authorized partner Reliance Teleservice.
