Handset to Handset Video Sharing

Posted by Warren Frey on Thu, January 3, 2008 12:33 PM · Filed under Vancouver , Venture Capital , Events · No Comments

The next Canadian Financing Forum is less than two weeks away, and amongst the start ups presenting their wares will be Mobidia, a Richmond-based mobile infrastructure firm that aims to let wireless carriers deliver rich content through improved IP traffic management. They claim that their solutions also allow carriers to better understand customer behaviour, create profitable tiers of service and guarantee service levels. Their showcase product, CUBuddy, allows live interactive video sharing over existing wireless networks, streaming live video and audio between handsets using Mobidia's Dynamic Multimedia Protocol.

The Financing Forum kicks off on January 16th at the Fairmont Waterfront in downtown Vancouver, so be sure to register soon.
