A Canadian-born iPad app aims to bring you as close as possible to 2012's World Junior Hockey Championships taking place in Edmonton. Called Row 0, the app features in-game fan chat, pictures from the stadium, curated blog content, and more.

Developer David Quail, who spends his days in Silicon Valley (his startup Attassa was acquired by YouSendIt earlier this year), returned to his roots in Canada to create the app. He flew out on weekends to build the app as a passion project.

Row 0 will be updated throughout the tournament, aggregating news stories, player tweets, photos, and more. You can download the app on your iPad for free here.
