Mobilicity revamps mobile device return policy to better favour consumers

Mobilicity's old return policy for mobile devices was a 7-day time limit and heavy usage restrictions: 30 minutes of voice chat, 30 sent text messages, and a single megabyte of data.

But CEO Dave Dobbins today tweeted:

We've changed our return policy on handsets - we've removed the usage limits and changed to 14 days.

Mobilicity's new return policy reads like this now:

If you’re not happy with your Mobilicity phone, your phone must be returned within 14 days to get a full refund of your phone. Your original sales receipt, original phone box, including all instruction manuals and accessories that came with the phone (such as the charger, battery, headset and carrying case) must be returned.

The reason for doing this is unclear, but it definitely favours the consumer more, so no complaints here.
