Mobilicity to Pop Up in Metro Stores

Mobilicity today announced a partnership with Metro. The startup discount wireless carrier is opening up 9 kiosks inside Metro stores in Toronto and Ottawa in a test-pilot program.

"Metro fits perfectly into our retail distribution expansion strategy," said Mobilicity Chief Customer Officer Anthony Booth. "We look forward to growing our presence at Metro over the holidays and into the New Year as we make it easy for consumers to access the ultimate in unlimited talk, text and data plans while they shop for groceries."

Mobilicity says it has "over 250,000 customers" and "by far the highest ARPU among the startup new entrants."
