Montreal's Ben Yoskovitz announced today that he is back in the startup game and joining GoInstant as VP of Product.

Yoskovitz's last startup was Standout Jobs which was sold in 2010 and he eloquently wrapped up with a post-mortem blog post on his Instigator Blog.

Yoskovitz is also a founding partner at early-stage accelerator Year One Labs and a co-founder at tech news site NextMontreal. To date Year One Labs has invested in five startups: Localmind, Massive Damage, HighScore House, qidiq and Happy Stuff.

GoInstant launched last month at TechCrunch's Disrupt and is well-funded from an impressive list of investors which includes Reid Hoffman of Greylock Partners (co-founder of LinkedIn) and Howard Lindzon of Social Leverage.

GoInstant was co-founded by Jevon MacDonald, Gavin Uhma, Kirk MacPhee, and Dave Kim. MacDonald is a co-founder of StartupNorth and was most recently an Entreprenuer in Residence at Innovacorp in Halifax.
