Montréal's Ostrich launches, greets tremendous wave of success, collapses under pressure

appThis is one Ostrich that doesn't keep its head in the sand.

But it may have overworked itself: the Twitter client for Apple's Safari web browser received impressive media coverage and saw a very successful launch. Too successful perhaps, for this is now posted on the website:

Ostrich is currently down. That much success was not expected at the start and therefore much optimization is required before it can be operational again. Thanks for your patience. Please follow @ostrichapp for updates on the matter.

Hopefully this isn't like BCLC's PlayNow site, which originally claimed it was down due to high demand, but was actually down due to serious security compromises

Preparedness is imperative to launches!
