Montreal's PasswordBox Named Best Mobile App at CES

At the Mobile App Showdown at this year's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Montreal-based PasswordBox was named the top winner by Living Digital Times.

The password management solution impressed a panel of judges, demonstrating key features like the protection of users' digital life and the management of online accounts.

“PasswordBox is honoured to be recognized as an innovator and technology leader in the app space," said Magaly Charbonneau, the COO of PasswordBox. "This is an exciting achievement for us as we enter 2014, and we will have more mobile innovation to share in the weeks to come.”

Last November the Canadian company acquired Legacy Locker, a Silicon Valley-based digital afterlife service that grants friends and family access to your online assets after you pass away. PasswordBox did so using some of the $6 million it raised earlier that month.
