Mozilla Foundation Executive Director Mark Surman to keynote INplay 2012 conference

Interactive Ontario announced this week that the Mozilla Foundation’s Executive Director Mark Surman, a community activist and technology executive of 20-plus years, will keynote the third edition of the INplay conference when it returns to Toronto on May 15 and 16.

Through his work at Mozilla, Surman is focused on inventing new ways to promote openness and opportunity on the Internet. His previous speaking engagements include TEDxBrussels and TEDxYouth.

INplay 2012 is dedicated to exploring the art and business of kids' interactive. It is a unique, international event that connects kids' creative industries with insights and opportunities in the interactive space. Presentations, panel discussions, case studies and technology "show and tells" will be attended by interactive content developers, video game producers, publishers, researchers, educators, toy manufacturers, and others.
