You might think of Groupon’s clientele as limited to restaurants, day spas and entertainment venues, but can non-profit groups get in on the act as well?
That’s the topic of the day at the next Net Tuesday Vancouver event, “Group Buying And Google Analytics Goals.” At this event, Annalea Krebs of ethicalDeal and Chris Mathieson of the Vancouver Police Museum will talk about how social buying websites can benefit non-profit organizations. Deciding if a daily deal could help your organization, and if so, what kind of deal, will be explored from the perspectives of a non-profit and of a daily deal website.
As well, Eli van der Giessen will examine whether Facebook likers or email subscribers are more likely to generate traffic to websites. As a case study, an action alert from the David Suzuki Foundation will be examined.
